Ribbit announces availability of mobile voice solution for Oracle CRM users

Thursday, October 8th, 2009 | located in Events, Oracle | No Comments »

This morning we announced Ribbit for Oracle® CRM On Demand offering is now available via a public beta. We will be demonstrating the solution during Oracle OpenWorld, October 11-15 in San Francisco and additional details will be available at our booth, located within the Oracle CRM On Demand Inner Circle Partner Pavilion.

In 2008, Ribbit was selected as a participant in the Oracle Inner Circle Program as a partner that has demonstrated significant value for enterprise customers and synergy with the current and future direction of Oracle CRM On Demand.

Today, Ribbit for Oracle connects mobile phone, Oracle CRM On Demand and email with integrated voice to text conversion. As customers who use CRM to manage their business become even more dependent on mobile devices, it’s imperative that these sales and service organizations are empowered with technology to sell more and type less.

Ribbit for Oracle

With Ribbit for Oracle, calls, voicemail and voice memos automatically flow into Oracle CRM On Demand along with integrated text transcriptions. Users call in notes rather than type them, accelerating information flow to the rest of the business. Inbound voice messages are automatically organized into a user’s CRM application so they can be easily managed like email, without wasting time dialing in to listen or worrying about messages being deleted. Ribbit also provides an online cell phone backup in Oracle’s CRM application so users can easily place, receive and log calls if their mobile device is unavailable.

Quotes:

  • Anthony Lye, senior vice president of CRM at Oracle: “Mobile productivity is vitally important to our customers, which is one of the reasons why we chose Ribbit to be part of the Inner Circle Partner initiative. By incorporating Ribbit’s award-winning communications capabilities into Oracle CRM On Demand, we believe mobile workers will see instant productivity gains and positive returns on their CRM deployments.”
  • Greg Goldfarb, vice president and general manager of enterprise applications at Ribbit: “Ribbit enables businesses to achieve a rapid rise in productivity, CRM adoption and sales responsiveness by leveraging the core applications already in use. Through extending the benefits of our rich integrated communications tools, we’re uncovering new opportunities to help increase sales efficiencies among Oracle’s ecosystem of customers and partners.”
