Mick Hegarty

Strategy & Business Development Director, BT Enterprises

CEO, BT Ribbit

Mick has 30 years experience in communications and IT services, which includes  significant responsibility in customer service, operations, marketing and business development roles. These have included regional service responsibility for BT’s key business accounts, and product and solution responsibilities for enterprise voice, data and IT hardware and intelligent network services for UK businesses. As marketing director for BT Business he had end-to-end marketing responsibility for BT’s 1m SME customers, including brand, portfolio, pricing, sales enablement and campaigns.

Mick is currently responsible for strategy and business development for BT’s portfolio of enterprise businesses, and is CEO of BT Ribbit, BT’s communications innovation platform business based in Mountain View, California.

Richard Fletcher

COO, BT Ribbit

As Chief Operating Officer at Ribbit, Richard is responsible for the day to day Operations of Ribbit.  He is passionate about customer transparency, and using technology to deliver a great customer experience.  

Richard was previously Chief Operating Officer at Plusnet the awarding winning UK based consumer and business ISP.  Richard spoke widely across Europe on Traffic Management.  Prior to Plusnet he held senior positions at SDL plc where he was responsible for R&D and Product Development working with large corporations to deliver local language content effectively.  

He is a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute, and graduate of the University of Sheffield where he studied Political Science.

Chris Hillman

Commercial and Product Director, BT Ribbit

Chris joined Ribbit in 2010 as Commercial and Product Director. Prior to this he has been with BT for 5 years, holding a number of commercial leadership roles within the retail division of BT, most recently heading up the consumer online services business.

Prior to joining BT, Chris spent 10 years in strategy consulting for Marakon Associates, advising  senior management in the Technology, Retail and Financial Services sectors across US, Asia and Europe.

Chris is responsible for developing the Ribbit product portfolio, all commercial activities and leading our innovation unit, Ribbit Labs.

Victor Paulsamy

Applications Server Group Director, BT Ribbit

 Victor has more than 15 years of experience working in scalable, high performance and fault-tolerant systems, Internet multimedia and telephony applications, signaling, media, security and server control protocols, their implementation and interoperability.  He's a frequent contributor to IETF.

Prior to joining Ribbit, he was at Ditech Networks for seven years.  As Product Architect, he architected and deployed Ditech's carrier grade voice and transcoder products, mediaserver and innovative mid-call applications.

At Ribbit, he heads the Applications Server group and is responsible for the strategic applications.

He holds a Masters in Electrical Communications Engineering from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore.
