As Silicon Valley's first phone company, we will give developers the tools to let communication transcend carriers, networks, devices and technologies, and let it integrate into the way we actually live, work and play today.
The company was founded in February 2006 by telephony and web veterans who clearly understood that communications of the future were not going to be delivered by existing phone companies. They came to Ribbit with all the credentials to understand today's telecom industry, but what they left behind were the legacy behaviors, self-imposed limitations and stale business models that have stifled communication for years.
